We offer in-person cooking classes (the "Class") held on specific dates and times in Florence. Each Class description on the Website specifies the content, duration, price, language and maximum number of participants. Images are for illustrative purposes.
To make a reservation, the Customer selects a Class and date, provides the required information and completes payment. The booking is confirmed only once full payment has been received and a confirmation email has been sent to the address provided. The contract is concluded at that moment.
Prices are shown on the Website in Euro and include VAT where applicable. Full payment is required at the time of booking. Payment can be made via:
Payment data is handled directly by the payment providers; we do not store full card details.
Free cancellation: the Customer may cancel free of charge and obtain a full refund by giving notice at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time of the Class.
Late cancellation / no-show: for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the Class, or in case of no-show, the amount paid will be retained in full and is non-refundable.
To cancel, the Customer must send a request to info@pastaloversflorence.it. Approved refunds are issued using the same payment method, normally within 14 days.
The Class is a leisure service provided on a specific date. Pursuant to Article 59, paragraph 1, letter n) of the Italian Consumer Code (D.Lgs. 206/2005), implementing Directive 2011/83/EU, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply to services related to leisure activities provided on a specific date or period. Cancellation is therefore governed exclusively by Section 5 above.
We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel a Class for reasons beyond our control (e.g. insufficient participants, illness, force majeure). In such cases, the Customer will be offered an alternative date or a full refund of the amount paid. We are not liable for any further or indirect costs (e.g. travel or accommodation).
The Customer must arrive on time and follow the instructions and safety rules given during the Class. Any food allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements must be communicated at the time of booking; while we take reasonable care, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of allergens. Participation is at the Customer's own responsibility.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the price paid for the Class. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
These Terms are governed by Italian law. For consumers, mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence and the jurisdiction of the consumer's place of residence remain unaffected. The Customer may, where applicable, refer to an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) body. A list of recognised dispute resolution bodies is available via the European Commission's consumer redress pages (consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu).
